On 8/7/2025, at 9:30 am, Licensing Program Analyst Monica Ruiz conducted an unannounced annual random inspection of the facility noted above. A risk assessment was conducted prior to entry. LPA met with Licensee, Luzmila Becerra, to whom the reason for the visit was explained. Licensee was provided the Entrance Checklist (LIC 126) via email and in person. Adults in the home were discussed and all have criminal record clearance. There were 4 day care children present during today’s inspection. Licensee states that there are currently four children enrolled, no infants at this time
Facility capacity is in compliance with a Large Family Child Care Home. Per Licensee, the facility’s hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 12:00am – 11:00pm. Emergency Disaster Plan, License, and Parents’ Rights were posted on a bulletin board in the den next to the laundry room, at the time of inspection. Disaster drill log was also available during today’s inspection, last disaster drill conducted on 2/13/2025.
This is a single-story home with a living room, kitchen/dining room, basement, 3 bedrooms, den, and 3 bathrooms.
The day care takes place in the living room, 1 bathroom located next to the den, kitchen and rear yard.
Licensee states that she provides overnight care, children are set up to sleep in the living room and she sits in the living room with the children.
LPA observed a working smoke detector and Carbon Monoxide detector, fully charged fire extinguisher, and land line telephone service. The home provides safe toys, play equipment and materials. Per the licensee, there are no firearms on the premises. Page 1
