25 | On 01/07/2025, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Mariah Aguirre and Monique Ayala conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection to the above facility. Upon arrival, LPAs disclosed the purpose of the inspection and met with Licensee Hermelinda Garcia who guided the LPAs on a tour of the facility. Adults in the home were discussed and most have criminal record clearance. One individual living in the home does not have fingerprint clearance and as a result, a type A deficiency is being given. There was 2 day care children present during today’s inspection. Licensee states that there are currently 9 children enrolled. The children's roster was reviewed and is current. Per licensee, the facility’s hours of operation are Monday to Sunday 6AM to 5AM. Emergency Disaster Plan, License, and Parents’ Rights were posted at the time of inspection. Disaster drill log was also available during today’s inspection, last disaster drill conducted was on 12/17/2024. LIC 126 was provided. Inspection was conducted in Spanish.
This is a single-story home which consists of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen, outdoor laundry room, back yard, front yard, and side play area. Per licensee, areas used by the children include the living room, bedroom #1 (napping room/playroom), backyard and side play area. Areas off limits to children and parents include kitchen, bathroom #2, bedroom #2 and bedroom #3, outdoor laundry area, and front yard.
All areas identified on the facility sketch as accessible to children were inspected to ensure that they are clean and orderly with ventilation and heating for the safety of the children. |
