25 | On January 29, 2025, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Monique Ayala and Mariah Aguirre conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) visit at the above facility. LPAs met with licensee's assistant Natalie Medina who guided LPAs on a tour of the facility. LPAs observed 3 children in care. Licensee, Hermelinda Garcia arrived shortly after. The purpose of this inspection is to ensure that the facility is in compliance with Title 22 Regulations and the deficiencies cited on 01/07/2025 were corrected. Inspection was conducted in Spanish.
Licensing staff observed and reviewed the following:
- LIC282 were completed
- LIC9227 was completed
- LIC995A were completed
- 15 minute sleep logs were completed
- Fire extinguisher is services as of 01/14/2025
- Firearm(s) are following Title 22 Regulations
- Uncleared adult son who is not fingerprint cleared is no longer living at the facility.
Licnesee provided a declaration stating, prior to her adult son returning to live in her home, fingerprint clearance must be obtained from the department.
Letters of Deficiencies Citations Cleared were provided for deficiencies corrected.
The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00
An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report was provided to licensee, Hermelinda Garcia along with Appeal Rights.
