Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Seung Lee conducted an unannounced required inspection. Upon arrival LPA met with Director Hye Kyung Yoon who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. This is a preschool program operating Monday through Friday 7:30am to 6:00pm

The program consists of three classrooms: Room 1 (1 Teacher 6 children); Room 2 (1 Teacher 6 children); Room 3 (1 Teachers and 6 children).

Physical Plant. Furniture and equipment was inspected for age appropriateness and good repair free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. Napping cots were inspected for good condition, appropriate storage and cleanliness. Bedding and sheets are provided by parents and taken home on Fridays to be washed. Floors are clean and safe. Disinfectants and cleaning solutions are kept in a storage area inaccessible to children Note: Any Poisons shall be kept locked. The facility has central air/heating. Electrical outlets are inaccessible. Trash cans were observed to have tight fitting lids for discarding food. Restrooms were clean and odor free. There is an adequate supply of toilet paper, paper towels, and soap. All restroom fixtures are height appropriate for children. Staff have their own restroom located near the kitchen. The isolation area for ill children is located in the office. A bed is available if necessary and children will be escorted to the staff bathroom if ill. This facility serves Lunch. Children bring afternoon snacks from home per Director.

The outdoor activity play area is comprised of cement and turf cushioning material. All areas around and under high climbing equipment are cushioned with material that absorbs a fall. Drinking water is available both indoors and outdoors. The Director confirmed all water used for consumption and food preparation have been tested for lead. The play area has plenty of shade for hot temperatures.

FACILITY RECORDS All staff present have obtained a criminal record clearance or criminal record exemption. There is at least one person trained in CPR and Pediatric First Aid for the Director expires 04/2025

In review of children’s records, files contain information including, but not limited to the following: Name, address and telephone number of authorized representatives who can assume responsibility for the child. Care and supervision was evaluated to determine if the basic needs of children are met and appropriate. Menus are posted at least one week in advance where it is visible by the child's authorized representative. Parents provide snacks from home and the facility provides lunch to the children in care.

Medication policy is as follows. Facility does not administer over the counter or prescription medication. Any medication that needs to be administered during school hours is done by the parent. This facility provides Incidental Medical Services – IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children’s, personnel, and administrative records. LPA advised the licensee to access forms, regulations and quarterly updates on the Child Care Licensing website at: www.ccld.ca.gov. REMINDER: Failure to obtain criminal record background check clearances and associations prior to initial presence in the facility will result in an immediate $100.00 dollar or more per day Civil Penalty.

There were no deficiencies cited during today’s inspection.



he Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213)must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing reprehensive. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00. Exit interview was conducted with Director Hye Kyung Yoon.
