Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Staicy Perry conducted a case management visit to main office of International Institute of Los Angeles located at 3845 Selig Place Los Angeles CA 90031 in regards to above facility. LPA arrived and signed in the lobby and waited for Lupe Granados. Case Management inspection is being conducted to review staff files to determine staff qualifications, staff job descriptions, Employee Handbook and Parent Handbook were reviewed during this visit. Copies of documents reviewed during this visit, were obtained.

In review of staff qualifications, it was found that 2 out of 5 staff did not have the required qualifications.

Based on LPA Perry's records review and observations conducted the facility is being cited (2) Type B deficiencies for Title 22 Regulation,101215.1(m) for Director Qualifications and 101216.2(d) for Teacher Aide Qualifications (see LIC809D). LPA recommended that the facility administration and facility director retake the Child Care Center orientation, records keeping portion that is available online at the CCLD website.

An exit interview was conducted and copy of this report was provided to Lupe Granados, Assistant Division Director/Program Director, along with Notice of Site Visit. The Notice of Site Visit must be posted for 30 days.
