25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Veronica Martinez Garza conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility on 05/22/25 at 02:00 p.m. LPA met with Virginia Aguilar licensee who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. There were 04 children present during this inspection. Also present was the licensee’s husband. Per licensee, 10 children are enrolled. Operation hours are Monday through Friday 06:00am to 06:00pm.
This is a one-story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, den, indoor patio, front yard, back yard (fenced), detached garage. Areas accessible to children include living room, dining room, 2 bathrooms (near the kitchen and in the hallway between the bedrooms), kitchen, den, indoor patio, and back yard. Per licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, front yard, and detached garage. According to the licensee, there no pets on the premises. Family members residing in the home are 3 adults and 0 minors. All individuals present in the home have obtained a criminal record clearance or exemption prior to working, residing, or volunteering in a licensed home and are identified on the attached LIC811.
LPA toured all areas identified on the facility sketch used by children during this visit and were inspected for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. Tour began in the living room where LPA observed furniture and some materials for children. Licensee has a barricaded fireplace in the living room. Adjacent to the living room is the dining room where LPA observed a dining room table, chairs, and dry snacks. The dining room leads to the kitchen. Per licensee, the kitchen is accessible to children. Licensee maintains knives inaccessible to children.
