25 | On 03/07/23 at 9:10 AM, Antonio Almanza, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), conducted an announced Pre-Licensing site visit for a change of location from FAC No. 197494324. Upon Arrival LPA met with Viviana Llamas, Applicant. The applicant is applying for a small family child care home to provided services to children ages 0 months to 13 years. The home will operate Monday thru Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The applicant and her husband are the only Adults living in the home and have a criminal record clearance and are associated to the License.
The Family Child Care home is a single-story family home with 3-bedroom, 1 bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen (with dinning space and laundry room) and detached garage. The home has a vinyl white picket fence in the front. The home is entered through the front gate. There is a driveway on the right side of the home. The applicant will use the Living room, Dinning room, Room #1, Bathroom and kitchen with dinning space for children In care. Room 2 and 3 will be off limits.
The property was inspected inside and out for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, poisons, detergents/cleaning compounds, medication and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children. LPA observed age appropriate safe toys, equipment, crib and napping equipment in the home.
Per applicant children will nap in the room #1. Applicant will provide meals and snacks. Applicant will use cell phone for the family child care home. Applicant was advised that cell phone should remain in the home while children are in care.
Applicant stated there are no weapons or firearms in the home. LPA did not observe any during this inspection. LPA observed the Parent Board Parent located in the living room of the home across from the main entrance door. LPA provided Applicant with list of items that are required to be posted in according to Title 22 Regulations. Pg 1
