On 06/13/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Brittanee Cleveland conducted an unannounced visit to deliver findings for the above allegations. LPA arrived at the facility at 8:30am and was greeted by Roshawn Hooper, Director, and Icylin Bowen, Assistant Director, who guided LPA on tour of facility. There were 8 children at the time of inspection.
At the initial visit on 5/8/24, LPA obtained roster, conducted interviews, and obtained supporting documentation. Director sent other supporting documents via e-mail to LPA. While interviewing children, they were unable to provide corroborating statements. S2 stated that corporal punishment has never been applied the classroom. S3 informed LPA that they were not present in the facility and when on field trip was only there to take photos of children for social media outlets for the facility. S3 supported S2’s statement by informing LPA that C1 and C2 were them during the field trip.
The complainant is alleging the above allegations. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. --- Page 1

The Notice of Site Visit must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00. An exit interview was conducted with Roshawn Hooper, Director.
