32 | One storage unit with cars, puzzles, soft blocks dolls, plastic animals, and a soft ball. There is a kids toys storage organizer with colorful baskets of manipulatives. In the corner was a reversable dry erase board and chalkboard. There is one 1 bathroom that will be used for the children with a toilet and glass shower. The handle of the door is not locked and is at the reach where a child can turn the handle. LPA checked the cabinet underneath the sink which only had gloves and paper towels. The Fire Extinguisher was mounted to the wall which was a 3A:40-B: C. LPA and applicant tested the carbon monoxide and smoke detector that was working.
A First Aid Kit was fully stocked. Per the applicant there no bodies of water in the home. Per applicant there are no weapons that is in the home. LPA did observe one dog that was in the house and will not be in the room where the day care will be. The home has a backyard with a side gate which will remain locked during operating hours. The gate will only be open when the children are going to the backyard. In the back yard there is a patio area with chairs and a table. In the backyard LPA observed outdoor materials for the children a small colorful table with an umbrella, purple caterpillar, trucks, slice, bikes, sandbox, ship water table. There is a brown stone fence around the entire backyard. There is also a white plastic fence that leads to behind the storage unit which is located to the left of the backyard. There is one opening area next to the storage unit that has two outdoor heaters. The area leads to the back of the storage unit that is accessible to children in care. On the side of the house are two brown security gates where the air conditioner unit is located.
The home was inspected for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone services, heating ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children in care. Applicant confirmed that the facility will be providing breakfast, lunch, snack, LPA discuss food preparation, storage and ensuring a log and information regarding dietary restrictions and allergies are kept up to date.Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed.
