32 | According to Parents interviewed during the course of the investigation, they have no concerns regarding their children's well being and safety while at the Family Child Care (FCC). Parents stated that their children like the FCC and are happy to go along with hugging the licensee upon arrival.
According to Adults interviewed during the course of the investigation, everyone treats the children with respect and children are never hit or punished to cry. Adults stated that if children do misbehave they have to take seat and calm down but are never hit.
According to Children interviewed during the course of the investigation, children stated that their teachers are nice to them and do not hurt them.
-Pertaining to the allegation that - Staff uses inappropriate forms of discipline.
According to the Reporting Party (RP), adults at the day care are told to pinch children to make them cry.
According to Children interviewed during the course of the investigation, children stated that their teachers are nice to them and treat them nicely.
According to Parents interviewed during the course of the investigation, they have no concerns regarding discipline policies while at the Family Child Care (FCC). Parents stated that their children like the FCC and have no concerns. Parents stated that their children are happy when being dropped off and run to their teachers. Parents further stated that their children have never expressed adults hurting them.
According to adults interviewed during the course of the investigation children are never hit or disciplined harshly. Children are treated with respect.
Based on the evidence as documented above, the allegations have been determined to be Unsubstantiated. A finding that the complaint is unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the allegation occurred.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
