On 1/14/2025 at 4:25pm LPA Veronica Wheatley arrived at the residence to conduct a case management inspection. LPA walked down the driveway to the rear of the home which is the entrance for the parents and children. LPA was greeted by employee Britney Murrillo and allowed inside of the home. LPA counted and observed 9 children, however with one child that left the total observed was 10 children on the premises. The licensee is operating over capacity. Of the children observed, four of them are infants (under 2 years old). LPA observed another female employee on the premises assisting with the children. Britney stated she would call her boss.

Licensee Derick Lima arrived at the home. Mr. Lima was licensed 11/8/24 and states he opened the day care before Christmas in mid December 2024. LPA observed CPR/first certification for the assistants which expires March 2026 and current Mandated Reporter Training.

LPA observed files for the assistants but not for the children. Licensee does not have any files on the premises for the children. Licensee only provided the first names of children. The licensee is being cited a Type A violation for being over capacity and out of ratio and Type B violation for not having files for the children. See LIC 809D.

Exit interview conducted. Report was read. A copy of the report will be provided to the licensee.
