25 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Tatiana Bickham and Tatiana Bickham conducted an announced pre-licensing inspection for a large family child care at the above facility on 12/04/2024 at 9:00 AM. LPAs met with Applicant Ifat Megidesh, who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. There were no children present when LPAs arrived. Per Applicant, hours of operation will be Monday through Thursday, 8:30am to 4:00pm and Friday 8:30am to 2:00pm. Applicant states they will provide care for children 1 to 4 years of age.
This is a single home consisting of four bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, converted garage, shed, backyard and front yard. The home was inspected for safety, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children.
Areas used by children include: The converted garage (day-care room), bathroom inside of the day care room, living room, and part of the backyard. LPAs informed the applicant no eating or napping is allowed in the day-care room, napping and eating must be done in the home. Areas off limits include: four bedrooms, two bathrooms, dining room, kitchen detached shed located in the backyard and part of the backyard. The off-limits area of the backyard is separated by a fence. Off limit areas are in the home are inaccessible by door lock. Knives and other sharp objects are located on the kitchen counter and in drawers.
The home is clean and orderly. Smoke/carbon monoxide detector was observed, tested and found to be operable.
Applicant has completed the required health and safety training, the Pediatric First Aid and CPR. Applicant has proof of immunization against pertussis and measles, and declination letters for influenza on file. Proof of
