25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tatiana Bickham conducted an announced pre-licensing inspection for a large family child care at the above facility on 06/10/2026 at 8:30 AM. LPA met with Applicant Jeaneth Vizcarra, who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. There was one child present when LPA arrived. The applicant is a foster parent. Per applicant individuals residing are the applicant, spouse, and four minor foster children. Per Applicant, hours of operation will be Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Applicant states they will provide care for children 0 weeks to 6 years of age.
This is a two-story home consisting of three bedrooms, three bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, day-care room, laundry room, attached garage, front yard, and backyard. The home was inspected for safety, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, and hazardous items that can pose danger to children.
Areas used by children include: The day-care room, bathroom next to the living room, and part of the backyard. Areas off limits include: The kitchen, living room, dining room, attached garage, part of the backyard, and the second floor which consist of the primary bedroom and ensuite bathroom, three bedrooms, one bathroom. Off limit areas are made inaccessible by door gate. Knives and other sharp utensils are locked in the laundry room cabinets. Cleaning products are made inaccessible by a lock.
The residence appeared clean, though clutter was present throughout several areas in the home. LPA informed the applicant the areas the children will use need to be organized and decluttered. Smoke/carbon monoxide detectors were observed, tested and found to be operable.
