On May 10, 2024, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Aaliyah Zendejas and Veronica Diaz conducted an unannounced visit to deliver the findings of the above mentioned allegations. LPA met with director / owner Tressa Mendoza and advised her of the purpose of the inspection. Together with the director, LPAs toured the interior and exterior of the facility. At the time of the inspection, there were 5 infants in care with 2 teachers.

CCLD received a complaint regarding the above mentioned allegations. Staff interviewed denied comingling preschool children and infants. Parent interviews did not express seeing preschool and infants together while enrolled at the facility. LPA made two unannounced inspections during the course of the inspection and did not observe comingling of children during both inspections.

Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.
