monoxide devices are in operable condition (checked at 1:58 P.M.).
The facility has two restrooms for both sexes for the school age children. LPA observed two toilets in each restrooms, paper towels, tissue, and liquid soap. The school age classroom has three sinks located near the restroom. LPA also observed trash bins with covers. Water temperature is appropriate. There is an isolation area for children who become ill while in care and is in the main office. The facility always maintains a comfortable temperature. The facility has emergency kit bags in each of the classrooms and contain emergency supplies such as flashlight, crackers, food, disposable cups, hand sanitizer, bloodborne pathogen infection control kit, emergency plan, and other emergency supplies. Daily sign in/out sheets and electronic sign in/out using the kiosk are available and completed daily. Smoking is prohibited on the premises, daily inspection for illness, no prohibited child care items observed. Firearms/weapons are not allowed or stored on premises. There is no body of water on the premises.
Per Director Aimee Ward, Spout About application is used when monitoring children regarding their attendance at any given time, meals, and other activities. Parents are informed in real-time using the same application.
Outdoor: The facility has a playground area for the school age children. Pre-K 2 classroom share the same playground with the school age children at a different time schedule. Outdoor play equipment was inspected for health, safety, good repair, and age appropriateness. The area was observed to be free of debris, free from hazard, holes, broken items, debris. LPA observed different kinds of play equipment at the outdoor play area and are age appropriate. No bodies of water were observed. According to the director, drinking water is provided during outdoor plays in the form of water pitcher. Disposable water cups are also provided. Staff bring the water pitcher when they play outside.
Teacher child ratios were observed, and staff name recorded. Care and supervision was evaluated to determine if the basic needs of children are met and appropriate.
Health Related Services: According to Director Aimee Ward, they were currently not providing prescription medications.
