On 8/05/24 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ranita Richmond arrived at the above named CCC to conduct an unannounced Proof of Correction (POC) visit. Center is licensed for 52 preschool children, ages 2 years through 6 years of age. LPA met with Director Stacey Jenkins. LPA Richmond toured the facility indoors and outdoors and observed 17 children in care, being supervised and cared for appropriately by 2 fingerprint cleared staff members. Facility hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 6:00pm.

On 3/12/2024, Licensee was cited for the following:
1. Licensee will ensure at least one staff member who is trained in pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation and pediatric first aid pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 1596.866 shall be present when children are at the child care center.

During visit LPA observed the following:
1. LPA did not observe any completed or updated 1st aid /CPR training for at least one staff member present while children are in care at the child care center.

Citations issued on 3/12/2024 has not been cleared.

Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, citations were cited today. See LIC 809D. See LIC 421FC.


Exit interview conducted, and report was reviewed with Director Stacey Jenkins.
Appeal rights printed and reviewed with Director Stacey Jenkins.
A Notice of Site Visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days.

Based on records review and
interview, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. Staff records do not show current 1st aid/CPR training for at least one staff member, which poses an immediate Health, Safety and, Personal Rights risk to persons in care.
