32 | LPA inspected the outdoors activity space, and the following was observed:
Age-appropriate toys and equipment were observed in separate play yards for each component. Proper shade and water will be provided during outdoor play. LPA observed a play apparatus with proper cushioning beneath it on the preschool yard as well as a bike path and helmets.
LPA observed a play apparatus with proper cushioning beneath it on the toddler yard as well as a bike path, helmets, and areas for resting. LPA did not observe any hazardous condition in these areas.
Facility representative was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain childcare by connecting them to childcare providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California.
Facility representative was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
Based on LPA Clayton and LPA Chandlers inspections and observations, the application for 20 Toddlers and 40 Preschool children is recommended for licensure, pending manager approval.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director Rachel Graves. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
