LPA conducted interviews with staff who are responsible for the care and supervision of children. Staff interviewed made no disclosures to support the allegations. Staff #1 stated that both infants and preschool children are dropped off at the Dearborn location in their separate, assigned classrooms. When children are transported to this facility, infants and preschool children are brought separate to prevent any commingling between infants and preschool children. Staff disclosed that children are always supervised within ratio and when needed, additional staff is provided.

LPA interviewed 5 parents who made no disclosures to support the allegations above. Parent #2 confirmed that both infant and preschool children have their designated drop off location and has never seen infant and preschool children cared for in the same classroom. When parents were asked if there were any concerns with ratios, parents stated that there are alot of infants being cared for but had not concerns with the care that was being provided. Parents were not able to provide LPA with amount of infants in care or provide names or number of staff present.

During the course of the investigation, LPA did not observe children commingling. LPA observed the facility to be operating within its license capacity.

Based on the investigation conducted by the LPA it has been determined that although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are unsubstantiated.

A copy of this report, appeal rights, and Notice of Site Visit was provided.

The Notice of Site Visit must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00.

Exit interview was conducted with Tina Roberts, Director. ---Page 2 of 2
