25 | On 10/27/2023 at 1:27pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sarah Garcia conducted an unannounced visit for the purpose of a Case Management- Deficiencies inspection. LPA met with assistant, Linda Foster and began the inspection.
LPA inspected the outdoor area and observed the above ground pool with a wooden fence with a metal lock and chain. The wooden fence is not self latching and self-closing therefore it does not meet regulation. LPA conducted an annual visit on 10/26/2023 and cited a technical violation regarding the pool fence. After management review, LPA will be citing a Type A Deficiency.
Licensee has been cited a Type A deficiency for installing a pool without the correct fence that meets regulations. Plan of Correction (POC) was developed and discussed with licensee over the phone and assistant at the facility.
See LIC809-D for Type A deficiency.
An exit interview was conducted with assistant. Notice of Site Visit was given to assistant and shall be posted for 30 days. Appeal rights discussed and provided to licensee. A copy of this report was left with the assistant. The assistant will give the report the licensees.
During the inspection, licensee, Caterina Minter called on the phone. LPA spoke with licensee over the phone an discussed the type A deficiency and the POC. Licensee agreed to remove the pool.
