On 11/16/2022 at 12:30pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Suzette Ornelas conducted an unannounced visit for the purpose of conducting an initial investigation regarding the above allegation. LPA Ornelas met with May Ling Chung, Licensee. LPA toured the facility and observed 5 children in care being supervised by 2 staff and a 3rd adult male, licensees father, sleeping in a bedroom.

During the course of the investigation, LPA Ornelas conducted interviews, obtained evidence and made observations in regard to the above allegations.

The person identified as the uncleared staff was not present at the facility and there is enough evidence to show the licensees husband is not the person identified.

Based on the evidence obtained over the course of the investigation, LPA Ornelas was unable to corroborate that the Allegation, (1) Uncleared staff living in home. Therefore, the allegation is determined Unsubstantiated. A finding that the complaint is unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the allegation occurred.
An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report, appeal rights along with the Notice of Site Visit were provided to May Ling Chung, licensee.
