25 | On 01/25/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Adrian Risher conducted an Annual Inspection. LPA provided Licensee with the purpose of the visit and was granted access to the facility. LPA met with Linda & Auzsa Woods, Licensee. LPA toured the inside and outside of the property with the Licensee. LPA observed the home to be clean, safe, orderly and well ventilated. There were 7 children present at the time of the inspection. The operating hours are Monday thru Friday 5am to 8pm.
LPA observed the home to have a Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. The Licensee utilizes the living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom 2 areas as the day-care. The rest of the home is inaccessible to the children. The living room is used for daily activities and napping. The children eat in the kitchen. The dining room is used for study time and playing. LPA observed cots and pac n plays that are used for napping. The isolation area is the dining room.
Licensee states that there are no weapons in the home. Licensee reports that there are no pets in the home.
The kitchen and bathroom areas were inspected for proper storage of chemicals, detergents, cleaning compounds, medications and sharp pointed objects. These items were made inaccessible to children. Cleaning supplies are stored under the sink with a safety latch. LPA observed a safety gate at the entrance of the kitchen. Medication is stored in the upper cabinet in the laundry room.
LPA observed operable smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors throughout the home. The home is equipped with 1 (2-A:10-B:C) Fire Extinguisher and First Aid kit which includes thermometer and band aids. The home has central air and heat. LPA observed a screened fireplace in the living room.
LPA inspected the outside area and observed age appropriate toys. There are no bodies of water at the home. The outside play area is supervised by the licensees in the back yard. Licensee stated the back house will be under construction to convert it to an ADU. The back yard will be off-limits during the construction period. The front yard may be used as the outside play area during the construction period. Licensees will notify the CCLD when the construction period begins and when the conversion is complete.
