25 | On 12/03/2024 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ranita Richmond conducted an unannounced annual required inspection. LPA was at the FCCH for an unrelated visit. LPA met with licensees Linda and Auzsa Woods, and toured the facility. There were 11 children present at the time of the inspection with four staff members. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 5:15am- 7pm.
The home is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath home with living room, dining room, laundry room, kitchen, gated front yard, and backyard which includes a back house and detached garage.
The on limit areas are as follows: living room, dining room, kitchen, half bath, and front yard.
The off limit areas are: bedrooms #1 & #2, laundry room, bathroom 1, back house, and backyard all which are made inaccessible to children in care by locked doors, safety gates and visual supervision.
Licensee is aware that the children must nap and have meals in the home.
LPA Richmond observed a fully charged 2A:10B:C Fire Extinguisher in the kitchen and working smoke detector carbon monoxide detector combo throughout..
There are no firearms or ammunition on the premises. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible to children in care by locked doors, off limits area, and visual supervision.
There are no pools, ponds or other bodies of water on the premises.
LPA Richmond observed age-appropriate toys, books and furnishings. Furniture and equipment are in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts.
