On 11/28/2022 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Judy Laureano conducted a complaint inspection to deliver the findings regarding the above-mentioned allegations. LPA met with Director, Maureen Morrison. LPA explained the purpose of the inspection. There were 33 children in care and 4 staff present providing care and supervision.

On 9/8/2022 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Judy Laureano arrived at Santa Monica Family YMCA Child Development Center for the purpose of investigating the above-mentioned allegations. Upon arrival, LPA met with Site Director Maureen Morrison and discussed the purpose of the visit. LPA toured the facility and observed 25 children in care and 5 staff present. LPA requested and reviewed the following: children's roster, staff roster, Parent Handbook, Potty Training Policy and classroom rosters.

On 9/8/2022, 9/21/2022 LPA conducted investigative interviews with parents, staff and children. On 11/08/2022, interviews with all relevant parties were concluded. No information was disclosed that children’s personal rights were violated or that facility comingled children.
