25 | On 1/10/2024 Licensing Program Analysts (LPA), Loyce Phillips conducted an unannounced Required Inspection and was met by Licensee, Ofelia Ochoa. There were no children present during this inspection. All adults have a criminal record clearance. Days and hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm. The facility does have liability insurance on file.
LPA toured the home inside and outside. This is a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom home with living room, dining area, kitchen, laundry area, and detached garage.
The areas that are accessible to children: Living room, dining area, kitchen, laundry area, bedroom #4 (day care room), bathroom #2, front yard, side yard and back yard. The back yard has age appropriate toys for outdoor activities.
The areas that are off limits to children: Bedrooms #1, #2, #3, #5, bathrooms #1, #3 (located in bedroom 5), detached garage, right side of the garage where the dogs are housed and driveway.
No poisons were observed during the inspection. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible to children.
There is a full charged fire extinguisher located by the backdoor. The facility has a working smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detector, inside the home. The facility has adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. The home has a wall heater in the living that is screened and inaccessible to children. There are no stairs in the home. Safe toys, materials and play equipment observed inside and outside. The home has working telephone service and LPA confirmed the phone number is (310)569-5643.
