LPA requested and reviewed the following: Parent Contract, Children’s Roster, review Children’s and Licensee’s record.
On 06/29/2026 LPA Laureano arrived at above mentioned facility for the purpose of a complaint investigation and was greeted by Carmen Armijos. LPA toured the facility and observed 11 children supervised by Licensee and Licensee’s assistant. LPA observed and inspected the activity space indoors and inspected the outdoor area. LPA observed Licensee and assistant in the space where children were getting ready for nap time and finishing up their lunch. LPA observed staff walk children over to the bathroom as children needed to use the bathroom and wash their hands before nap time. LPA followed up with children’s interviews.
On 8/7/2026 LPA concluded all interviews with relevant parties.
Based on interviews and LPA's observations on 5/27/2026, 6/29/2026, and 8/7/2026, no personal rights violations were identified. Parents reported no concerns regarding care and supervision, and children confirmed the licensee's presence in the day care. Based on interviews and LPA’s observation, there is not enough information to prove or disprove that staff did not provide adequate supervision resulting in day care child inappropriately touching another day care child. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the above allegation did or did not occur. Therefore, the allegations are found to be unsubstantiated.
Exit interview was completed and copy of report and Notice of Site Visit was provided to Carmen Armijos |
