32 | Children napping equipment observed at time of inspection, bags for linens were discussed. Storage for children's belongings, bathrooms facilities, and isolation areas were inspected. Age-appropriate sinks and toilets were inspected for availability, good repair, water temperature, toilet paper, safety, and sanitation. Bathroom 1 had 3 toilets and 3 sinks and Bathroom 2 had 2 urinals and 2 toilets with 3 sinks. LPAs observed cubbies with wooden toys, puzzles, books, and other appropriate toys to be clean and free of hazards at time of inspection. LPAs observed carpets and age-appropriate tables and chairs in each classroom. LPAs observed first aid boxes kept in each classroom. First Aid supplies were inventoried and were found to be in compliance with regulation.
Facility provides breakfast, and snack, menus located in each classroom were reviewed at time of inspection. Food and snack items are properly stored. Children bring their own lunch in their personal lunch box, and it is stored in their individually labeled cubbies. Food preparation area was toured and found in compliance for safety, cleanliness, and proper storage. Drinking water is provided via water dispensers and paper cups. Carbon monoxide detectors and smoke detectors are present in the facility. LPAs tested detectors at time of inspection and were determined to be in operable condition. Fire extinguishers were observed as serviced on 12/2025. Last fire drill was conducted on 12/3/25.
LPAs observed outdoor play area which consists of 4 play spaces El Jardin with artificial grass throughout, equipped with a butterfly garden, herb garden, water table, dramatic play, cubbies with toys and a table with benchs, La Playita has sand through out as cushioning material and is equipped with a table, play structure and sand kitchen, El Parquecito has rubber chips as ground cover and is equipped with a hen house, swing, play structure, and water table. A fourth play space was observed La Ciudad with artificial grass as ground cover, equipped with a library area, play house, tables and chairs, cubbies with materials, ride on toys and cars. Outdoor equipment was inspected for safety, cushioning material, good repair, and age-appropriateness. Required shade and fencing were inspected. LPAs advised Director that the children need to be always within the direct care and visual supervision by the teachers. Per Director, the children have access to drinking water via personal water bottles as well as a pitcher with paper cups. Play area was inspected for hazards and inaccessibility to bodies of water; no bodies of water or hazards observed at time of inspection.
LPA reviewed with the directors the LIC 311A, Records to Be Maintained At The Facility, for child’s records, personnel records, administrative records, and documents to be posted. Staff and Children’s Records were reviewed. Criminal Record Clearances were reviewed for adults. LPAs observed current CPR and First Aid Certification for center staff. CPR card expires on 5/2027 for Staff Member.
