32 | Outdoor/Children’s Play Area: The outdoor play area was inspected for safety, cleanliness, good repair, age-appropriate toys/equipment, cushioned floors, and shady areas. The main play structure appropriate for children ages 2-5. Per LPA observation, there are no pools, spas, or bodies of water on the premises.
File Review: LPA reviewed one child file which contained all required information. LPA verified background clearance of all staff present. All staff enrolled in Pediatric CPR/FA which expires in 08/2027.
Postings: LPA observed required postings as follows: Facility License, Personal Rights (LIC613A), Parent’s Rights Poster, Passenger Car Seat Law (PUB 269), and Emergency Disaster Plan (LIC 610)
Other: Per Administrator, smoking is prohibited on the premises. Per Administrator, there are no firearms/weapons stored on premises. Per recorded documentation, disaster drills last completed on 10/2025. Sign-in and sign-out sheets observed. The facility tested water for lead and facility was under the 5.5 pbb. which is the maximum allowable on 12/2022. Menus were posted. Children use personal bottles which are labeled. Per Site Supervisor, children are provided meals from McGrath Elementary School cafeteria.

Administrator was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
