32 | LPA Clayton conducted a full investigation, which included facility visits, document review, conducted interviews with RP (complainant), Licensee, Childcare center staff and the parent of the child referenced in the complaint. The parent stated that he was informed of the incident immediately and was comfortable with the way the school staff cared for his child and comfortable with the school’s plan to ensure that it did not happen again. LPA Clayton reviewed the staff time sheets and compared them with the student daily attendance record and found that the school was operating within Title 22 staff to Student ratios for infant centers.
Based on LPA Clayton inspections, interviews, and record review the allegations that the Day care is over ratio and the allegation that the Staff did not intervene during a physical altercation with children leading to child sustaining scratches are found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED, meaning that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Licensee Evelina Sowa. LPA Clayton posted a Notice of Site visit which is to remain posted for 30 days.
