Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Portia Bowden conducted an unannounced complaint inspection at the above facility. Upon arrival LPA met with Director Gwen Crews LPA observed 8 Children in care napping and 2 Staff. During the course of investigation LPA conducted interviews with staff, children in care, parents and collected documents. The reporting party (RP) alleged that Staff speak inappropriately to children in care, Staff yell at children in care, Staff keep child strapped in car seat during the day, Staff are comingling toddler component children with preschool age children, Staff use inappropriate discipline practices with day care children

Based on interviews and record review the above allegation is unsubstantiated meaning although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and a copy of the report were provided to Licensee Gwen Crews .
