This program provides breakfast, a.m. snack, lunch, and p.m. snacks and dinner. Meals are prepared on site. A monthly menu is available and posted on the parent board and Brightwheel app. For water drinking LPA observed a water jug and disposable cups. LPA observed the food preparation area to be clean and free of litter, rubbish, rodents, and/or any other vermin and storage containers for solid waste, including moveable bins with tight-fitting covers that are kept on, and in good repair. The facility was observed to be free of flies, other insects, and rodents. Facility has conducted the water lead testing on June 24, 2022, and no lead exceedance.
LPA Rivera entered the outdoor play area. LPA Rivera observed 1 shed closed and locked with a keypad lock. LPA Rivera observed the equipment to be in a safe condition, free of sharp, no lose or pointed parts. The surface of the outdoor activity space is maintained in a safe condition and is free of hazards. LPA Rivera observed play structure equipment to be age appropriate for ages 2-5 years and areas around or under high climbing equipment, are cushioned with granulated rubber mat that may absorb a fall. For adequate shade, LPA Rivera observed trees and a pergola . LPA observed the playground yard to be fenced and the side gates closed and locked with a keypad lock. LPA observed 2 trash bins with tight lids. For outdoor water drinking, staff bring out water jugs and disposable cups.
LPA observed on the bulletin wall the license, Parents Right's, Personal Rights, LIC 610 Emergency Disaster Plan, Facility Sketch, LIC 9148 Earthquake Checklist, PUB 269 Child Passenger System Poster, monthly Menu and Daily Schedule. LPA observed sign in or out sheets an observed 22 sign in signatures.
LPA also reviewed the children roster, staff, and children files.
Director Daniel Herrarte has the required American Red Cross pediatric First Aid/CPR certification dated 3/9/24, proof of preventative health and safety training (College course CD 10), child abused mandated certification (AB 1207) dated 8/30/22 and proof of immunization against pertussis, and measles, and influenza. Director has been informed mandated reporter training must be completed every 2 years, and is available at www.mandatedreporterca.com
