25 | On Friday, March 14, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mayra Rivera conducted a Case Management - Licensee Initiated inspection and met with licensee Maribel Suarez who granted access and guided LPA Rivera to inspect the back addition room. During this inspection no child care children present. Fire clearance approved dated 3/5/2025.
LPA inspected the back addition room and observed a kitchenette, one bathroom, living room and one room.
Areas accessible to children include: all areas in the back addition room.
LPA Rivera inspected the back addition room for safety, comfort, cleanliness, ventilation and working phone (cell phone). For ventilation, LPA Rivera observed split type air conditioner/heater unit. LPA observed a carbon monoxide and a smoke detector. LPA Rivera tested the carbon monoxide and smoke alarm and heard the sound, and they are operable. LPA observed the cleaning solutions stored inside the kitchenette cabinet with a child proof. LPA did not observe knives or sharp objects. Licensee stated, the cooking and the knives and sharp objects will remain in the main house. LPA observed the back addition room to be in good condition.
LPA Rivera entered the bathroom and observed the toilet, hand washing sink, hand soap and LPA observed the bottom sink cabinet closed and did not observe hazard materials and observed the bathroom to be in good condition. LPA reminded licensee any personal items (ex; shampoo, toothpaste, mouthwash, or items that fall into that category) must be made inaccessible to children.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted, and report was reviewed with the licensee Maribel Suarez.
