32 | When interviewed, both the licensee and her assistant verified that there was no inappropriate touching between them and the children, and no parent or child had complained about this. Both stated that they are the only two people who work with and interact with the day-care children. All other adults have not been left alone with the children.
When interviewed, all parents affirmed that they had not seen or heard of any inappropriate interactions between day-care staff and children. Their children had not complained of anything.
All the children interviewed did not state that any inappropriate touching had occurred.
The second allegation indicates that "Licensee did not ensure that all parties providing care and supervision to children were fingerprint cleared and associated to the license. "
When interviewed, both the licensee and her assistant confirmed that every adult who lives in the home is fingerprinted and associated to the facility. The licensee also stated that her sister’s family recently moved into the home and they all have fingerprint clearance.
LPA Garibyan reviewed the facility’s guardian association and observed that as of November, four family members are cleared and associated to the facility.
Based on the investigation conducted by the Department, the allegations have been determined to be Unsubstantiated. A finding that the allegations are unsubstantiated means that although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the allegations occurred.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
