32 | At approximately 03:30PM, LPAs and LPM were greeted by South Coast Air Quality Department Supervising Air Quality Management District (AQMD) due to AQMD receiving information regarding potential asbestos exposure at the facility. Per AQMD, the facility was given a Notice to Comply, Asbestos with correction compliance dates of 02/10/2025, 02/12/2025, and 02/14/2025. Facility is required to maintain Room #1, Room #2 and Custodial room closed off until further notice. Based on LPA's and LPMs observations, the following deficiencies listed on the attached deficiency page are being cited in accordance with Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations. Deficiencies that are being cited need to be cleared to protect the children's health & safety.
Also, LPAs and LPM informed the licensee to provide a copy of this licensing report dated 2/7/25 that documents any Type A citation to parents/guardian of all children currently enrolled by the next business day or the next day the children are in care, and to any newly enrolled parents/guardians for 12 months from the date of this report. A signed Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report (LIC9924), or written statement, must be placed in the child's file for verification.
