On 6/12/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeanine Lipsey made an unannounced visit for the purpose of delivering findings regarding the above allegation. LPA met with Estee Auerbach, Head of School.

School closed for the summer, zero children present. Last day of school June 6,2024.

LPA interviewed 5 staff, 1 child and took photos of the monkey bars.

Pertaining to allegation “Staff did not prevent inappropriate interactions between daycare children”:

Per the reporting party, C1's pants were pulled down, exposing his private parts, by C2 while they were hanging on the monkey bars. Staff 1 disclosed they were present when the incident happened, and they assisted C1 with pulling the pants back up.

Based upon interviews conducted and photos taken, the allegations have been determined to be Substantiated. A finding that the complaint is substantiated means that the allegation is valid because the preponderance of the evidence standards has been met.

A Type "A" is being issued. See LIC9099-D for deficiency cited.

An exit interview was conducted, a copy of this report and notice of site visit were provided to Estee Auerbach, Head of School was advised the notice of site visit must remain posted for 30 days.

licensee did not comply with the section sited above in that C1 was allowed to lock C2 in a shed until Staff #2 came from the classroom and observed C2 standing in front of the shed and heard C1 knocking from inside. which posed a health, safety or personal risk to children in care.
