13 | On 6/12/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jeanine Lipsey made an unannounced visit for the purpose of delivering findings regarding the above allegation. LPA met with Estee Auerbach, Head of School. School closed for the summer, zero children present. Last day of school June 6,2024.
LPA interviewed 5 staff, 1 child and took photos of the unlocked sheds.
Pertaining to allegation “Staff did not provide a comfortable environment for children in care”:
Per the reporting party, C2 locked C1 in an unlock shed on the playground by holding the door closed. Staff 3 disclosed they were the one who came around the corner and saw a C2 standing in front of the shed and heard another child knocking from inside the shed.
Based upon interviews conducted and photos taken, the allegations have been determined to be Substantiated. A finding that the complaint is substantiated means that the allegation is valid because the preponderance of the evidence standards has been met.
