13 | On March 4, 2026, at approximately 1:00 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Janet Gil conducted an unannounced inspection in order to deliver findings on the complaint investigation for the above allegation. LPA Gil met with the licensee, Ana Matal Banos, to discuss complaint allegation findings.
Present during LPA’s visit included licensee, two assistants, and ten enrolled children(1 infants, 5 preschoolers, and 4 school age). All adults living or working in the facility have on file fingerprint clearance on file.
Based on LPA record reviews of children’s files and children’s rosters, and interviews conducted with facility staff, children, parents, and adults living in the home, the allegation may have occurred or may be valid; however, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged violation did or did not occur. Therefore, the allegation is determined to be UNSUBSTANTIATED.
An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was reviewed and provided to the licensee, Ana Matal Banos.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
