| Children’s ages range between 2 years to 4 years old.
Napping arrangements were discussed. Children sleep on mats. A blanket from home is brought in for nap time and is sent home weekly for washing. All belongings are in each child’s cubby.
All floors were observed to be clean and safe. All materials accessible to children were observed to be toxic-free.
There are no firearms stored on the premises.
There are no pools or bodies of water on the premises.
Director was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal background clearance, exemption or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in the childcare center.
Director is trained in CPR and Pediatric First Aid, which expires June 2026.
Children’s records were reviewed. The name address, and telephone number of children’s authorized representative are on file. Inspection of required forms were made and documented on LIC 857.
LPA reviewed staff records. The review of staff records is documented on the LIC 859. Director did have proof of the mandated reporter training and immunizations on file. Director and parent-volunteers have been given on the job training for sanitation, housekeeping, and universal health precautions.
Children’s roster was observed to be current. Disaster drill log was reviewed, last drill was conducted on September 11, 2025.
The facility does not provide snacks. Children bring their lunches and snacks from home in a labeled container. Children’s water bottles are also labeled.
First Aid was observed in the closet near the far wall. According to director, there are no children that need regular medicine usage.
After observing the facility, there were no deficiencies during the inspection.
