32 | Per Licensee, the staff tends to the children as much as possible and there’s always enough staff coverage to ensure that the facility is operating within the required teacher to infant ratio.
When interviewing staff, Staff #1 and Staff #2 disclosed that children are always properly supervised, and facility operates within the required teacher to infant ratio. Staff disclosed that there’s always 2 teachers in Room 1 supervising 8 infants and 1 teacher in Room 2 supervising 4 infants. Staff also stated that another teacher is always available to help with breaks.
Parent #3, Parent #5, and #7 disclosed that there are always 2 to 3 teachers supervising the infant classroom. Parents also did not report of any concerns regarding the quality of care and supervision at the facility.
Children were not interviewed due to their age.
Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegation are unsubstantiated.
The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00.
