On 11/07/2024, Licensing Program Analyst Adrian Risher conducted a case management visit for increased monitoring. LPA met with Candice Lee, Administrative Assistant. LPA explained the purpose of the visit. LPA observed 12 children in care with 2 staff and 1 Director.

LPA observed staff providing supervision to the children in care. The facility is operating within the required Staff to Child Ratio. LPA observed 12 napping children with Director in the napping room.

Administrative Assistant stated the facility conducted their 3rd quarter training on August 12, 2024. The facility continues to utilize their mentor Juny Gray on a weekly basis. Administrative Assistant stated Juny Gray is the mentor but she steps in as a teacher if needed. Administrative Assistant stated the facility has also hired a Supervisor Michelle Nance for the facility.

LPA Risher met with Supervisor Michelle Nance during inspection. Supervisor provided LPA with the changes that she has implemented at the facility. Supervisor stated chimes have been installed on the following doors: front door, classroom 1, classroom 7, and the nap room. Supervisor stated staff complete a headcount every 30 minutes.

There have been other contacts regarding pending documents with LPA Scott. The facility will follow-up with LPA Scott regarding those pending documents.

Exit interview was completed with Candice Lee, Administrative Assistant. Appeal Rights will be provided.
