32 | Licensee has contact information for staff at each school that the daycare children attend. Licensee have the parents confirm the child’s drop off/pick up schedule on an ongoing basis. Licensee stated she creates a schedule for herself regularly for the drop off/pick ups. Licensee also gets a school schedule directly from the school.
Licensee stated that when she had infants in care the diapers were checked every 20-30 mins. Licensee stated that she does not have any infants in care at this time.
LPA Adkins observed a play crib, high chair and tables/chairs in the daycare. Licensee stated that the infants are placed in the crib during naptime. The older infants walk around when they are not napping. Licensee uses play gyms during the play time for the infants.
A full investigation which included observations and interviews was completed. The information received did not reveal evidence that a child was dropped off or picked up late, an infant was left in a soiled diaper or left in a highchair for extended periods of time. Although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the above alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are found to be unsubstantiated. Based on interviews and observations, no evidence has shown that there is a personal rights and Neglect/Lack of Supervision violation.
Exit interview was conducted and a copy of the report was provided to Regina White, Licensee. Appeal rights were reviewed and provided.
