25 | On February 5, 2025, at 11:30 am Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Priscilla Ochoa conducted an unannounced annual inspection at the above facility. LPA was greeted by Licensee, Esther Davidoff who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. A music teacher and licensee’s 2 assistant were also present during the inspection. All adults present during the inspection obtain current criminal record clearance. Per licensee there are 12 children enrolled and LPA observed 12 children in care. Hours of operation are Monday – Thursday from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm and Friday from 8:30 am to 1 pm.
Family members residing in the home are 2 adults who has criminal record clearance. This is a single-story duplex home that consist of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, and backyard which is fenced.
Off limit areas include 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and kitchen
Areas accessible to children in care are 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom (napping room next to the kitchen), living room, dining room, and back yard which is fenced.
At 11:45 am, licensee guided LPA on a tour of the facility. Upon entrance of the front door, LPA observed all licensing postings on the right side of the wall. LPA was then then led through the hallway way to the bathroom. The bathroom was observed to be clean, orderly and LPA also observed a changing table. There were no hazards observed that can pose a danger to children in care in the bathroom. Then LPA was guided to the living room area where multiple age-appropriate toys were displayed. The music teacher was observed doing activities which children in care. LPA observed a fireplace in the living room area, which was barricaded, making the fire place inaccessible to child in care. Next, LPA inspected the dining area, where a table with chairs was observed, as well as highchairs. In the dining room doorway leading to the kitchen, LPA observed a baby gate making the kitchen inaccessible to children in care. LPA walked through the kitchen to access the napping room and observed another baby gate on the other end of the kitchen. In the napping room, LPA observed napping equipment in the form of cots and 4 cribs.
