On 05/10/2022 at 8:15Am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Denise Miranda arrived at Kinder Kids Christian Infant Center located at 5403 W. Pico Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90019, for the purpose of a Case management plan of Correction Visit. Facility Hours is from 7:00Am - 6:00PM Monday- Friday.

LPA met with Ms. Kimberly Jameson, Lead Teacher who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. During this visit, Director Ms. Michelle Moore and the two designated person that Ms. Moore designated (Ms. Artea Kirkland and Ms. Beverly Bell were not present. At 8:40am LPA spoke over the phone with Ms. Kirkland, that stated she on her way to the infant center. LPA informed Ms. Kirkland that person was designated from Ms. Moore must be present while Director is not at the facility. A form LIC308 Designation of Facility Responsibility shall be submit to LPA no later than today with the staff name sign by Director/owner who is charge while director is not present.

Upon arrival, LPA observed 11 infants present and being supervised by 3 staff members.


At 9:12am LPA observed when Ms. Beverly Bell a designated of facility responsibility arrived at the facility. LPA explained to Ms. Bell, that designated of facility responsibility must be present during operation hours.
At 9:18am LPA observed 14 infants with 5 staff
During this visit LPA observed the plan of correction and the citation was cleared. LPA reviewed the sign in and out of the children and observed the infants in care is from under limitation on capacity (0 to 24months).
At 9:34am LPA observed Ms. Kirkland arriving at the facility.
On 05/05/2022, the facility was cited in violation of Title 22 CCR Title 22, Division 12 Chapter 1 Article 02. Licensing 101161 – Limitations on Capacity.
This report shall be made available to the public upon request. LIC 9213 Notice of Site Visit is provided and required to be posted for 30 days.
An exit interview was conducted with Ms.Bell and Ms. Kirkland. A copy of this report being provided to Ms. Bell and Kirkland along with notice of visit and appeal rights.
