Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Lilia Hernandez and Roberto Luque Avila conducted an unannounced case management inspection at the facility on 05/17/2024. LPAs arrived at the facility at 1:01PM and was greeted by Gabriela Castro, Center Director, who guided LPAs on a tour of the facility. Michelle Moore, Licensee, accompanied the LPAs on the tour. There were 7 infants in care. Center Director and 1 staff member present upon arrival were caring for the infants.

The purpose for this inspection is to provide the Licensee with a copy of an Accusation served to licensee on, May 1, 2024 by CDSS Legal Department.

It is noted in the Accusation that the Department is seeking a license Revocation of Kinder Kids Christian Preschool 197416529, Kinder Kids Christian Infant Center 197418070 and an Exclusion against Licensees, Artea Kirkland and Michelle Moore, and staff, Kimberly Jamerson (Legal case # 6324085101.)

A copy of the Accusation Summary indicating the Departments intent to revoke the license and to pursue exclusions actions shall be provided to the parent/guardian of any currently child enrolled by the next business day or immediately upon return as well as the parent/guardian of any child to be enrolled until the accusation is either dismissed or resolved through the administrative hearing or stipulated agreement. The following documentation was provided and explained:

• Accusation
• Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Reports (LIC 9224)
• A copy of the Appeal Rights (LIC 9058 FAS 01/16).

Licensee stated that copies of the accusation were received in the mail and copies of the accusation were provided to the parents/guardians of the children enrolled in care. ---Page 1 of 2

LPAs review child files to verify the LIC9224 were completed and signed by the child's parent/guardian. LPAs observed completed and signed LIC9224 in the children's files reviewed indicating accusation was provided.

Notice of Site Visit has been posted (LIC9213). The notice shall be posted for 30 consecutive days. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a $100.00 civil penalty.
