25 | On 09/12/2022 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Suzette Ornelas conducted an unannounced Annual Required Inspection for the preschool license. LPA met with Director, JILLIAN MARSH, Administrator, and toured the facility indoors and outdoors. Days and hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8a to 4p.
Center has infant license with toddler option (197418273) on the premises. LPA observed all required postings in a prominent area. A review of the digital sign in/out sheet was conducted to verify the current census of children. LPA observed 63 children and 12 adults. All children are under supervision, including visual supervision, of a teacher at all times. Capacity and limitations as specified on the license are being maintained. A walk through of the classroom area was conducted. LPA observed 7 licensed preschool classrooms on the premises; however, only 6 are in use.
RM 1: Apple (3-4 year olds), RM 2 Blackberry (4-5 year olds), RM 3 Raspberries (4-5 year olds), RM 4 Strawberries (4-5 year olds), RM 5 Peaches (2-3 year olds) RM 6 Pineapples (3-4 year olds)
All areas identified on the Facility Sketch were inspected. The following staff were present during this inspection:
RM 1: 9 preschool children with a ratio of 2 teacher
RM 2: 12 preschool children with a ratio of 2 teacher
RM 3: 9 preschool children with a ratio of 2 teachers
RM 4: 13 preschool children with a ratio of 2 teachers
RM 5: 10 preschool children with a ratio of 2 teacher
RM 6: 10 preschool children with a ratio of 2 teacher.
A walk through of the classroom room space was conducted, the space was found to be clean and free from any potential hazards. Furniture was found to be in good repair and age appropriate. There is adequate heating, lighting and ventilation. |
