On 02/13/2024 Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Laticia Thompson met with Jillian Marsh, Director. The purpose of the visit was an announced Case Management – Licensee initiated inspection at the facility to ensure that health, safety and personal rights as required by Title 22 and Health and Safety Regulations governing California Child Care Centers will be met. There were 92 children present during this inspection. This is an application for a capacity increase to accommodate 132 children ages 2-5year old. The childcare center will operate Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The fire clearance was approved on 12/13/2023. LPA toured and measured the on-limits areas. The facility has a total of 10 classrooms. Today’s visit is for the purpose of obtaining measurements of the proposed indoor and outdoor space.

Classroom measurements are:
The Indoor measurements contain a total of 5,627.74 which will accommodate Applicant’s request for 132 children.

Outdoor Play measurements are:
The outdoor activity space measurements contain a total of 2968.03, which will not accommodate Applicant’s request for 132 children. Based on today’s measurement the facility capacity limit for outdoor space is 40 children.

A second visit will be conducted for indoor and outdoor inspection. An exit interview was conducted with Lindsey Rosenkaranz (Program Director) LPA provided the program director with appeal rights, a notice of site visit (LIC 9213 ) and a copy of this report.
