Director stated that when a child is injured at school the staff complete an incident report. Staff will call the parents if needed. Director and staff agreed that the teachers are outside supervising the children during playtime. When a child is injured, staff will render aide to the child and clean the injury. Staff were present when a child was injured at school. Staff provided parent with an incident report after the child was injured. Staff rendered aid to the injured child.

Staff stated that school utilizes a time-out method as a form of discipline. This method of discipline is only used when they are outside. The children are given verbal warnings. Children stated that the teacher tells the students to sit down when they are not behaving. Staff explain what the child did wrong and try to make it a teachable moment.

Staff stated that everyone receives the same treatment at school. Director observes the staff on camera to make sure that the children are not being mistreated. Director addresses the parents concerns about the treatment of their child.

Although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the above alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations of Lack of Supervision and Personal Rights are found to be unsubstantiated. Staff rendered aid after a child was injured on the playground and parents were provided with an incident report. Staff utilize a time-out method as a form of discipline. Based on interviews and observations, no evidence has shown that the staff treated children unequally.

Exit interview was conducted and a copy of the report was provided. Appeal rights were reviewed and provided.
