Licensee is not supervising day care children
INVESTIGATION FINDINGS:

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), V. Wheatley arrived at the day care at 3:45PM and was greeted by the licensee's husband. The licensee was outside in the back yard supervising 3 day care children who were playing. LPA did not observe any health or safety violations in the backyard. LPA met with the licensee who denied the allegatioins of ladk of supervision. Licensee states she is always supervising the children and has two assistants S1 and S2. LPA interviewed Child #1 who denied the allegation.. LPA interviewed the licensee's daughter S3 who denied the allegations.

LPA interviewed the reporting party who stated the licensee is not supervising the children and had a video for the Department to review. LPA Wheatley and LPA's manager LPA Maureen Neal reviewed the video and did not observe children throwing any items over the fence. RP stated a child attempted to throw a bike over the fence while standing on a chldren's slide. LPA did not observe the slide during the first inspection on 7/12/22. LPA observed the children properly supervised on that day. See page 2.

Today LPA observed a small agre appropriate slide. LPA reviewed children's records and the oldest child enrolled is 6 years old. There are no school aged childen present.

Based on observation, record review, and interviews, there is not a preponderance of evidence that the children are unsupervised is deemed UNSUBSTANTIATED. – A finding that the complaint is unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred.
