32 | According to the Reporting Party (RP), Licensee’s 15-Year-old granddaughter smokes Marijuana in the home around the day-care children. Per RP, a day-care child witnessed the Licensee’s granddaughter smoking a wax pen and told RP about the incident.
According to children interviewed during the investigation, they have been in granddaughter room, playing video games, watching movies, talking or eating chips and have not witnessed granddaughter smoking or talking about smoking of tobacco, marijuana or any other substances.
Child 3 made disclosure that a former staff would take breaks and go to her car and vape but did not see granddaughter or anyone else smoke inside the home.
According to staff interviewed, no disclosures were made. Per Staff, they never smelt smoke of any kind tobacco or marijuana in the home. Staff indicated that no one smokes in the home.
Parent interviewed did not indicate any concerns related to the above-mentioned allegations and were pleased with the services and care provided to their children.
Based on the investigation conducted, there is insufficient evidence to support the above-mentioned allegation to be true. Therefore, although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is Unsubstantiated.
ALLEGATION- Licensee does not ensure facility is kept in clean sanitary conditions at all times.

According to the Reporting Party (RP), the licensee or other staff do not mop or sanitize correctly. Per RP, staff uses pine sol to clean and wipe down areas but it is not enough.
