32 | During the interview with the Director, the Director denied the allegations of Staff handling a daycare child in a rough manner and Staff yelling at daycare children. Per the Director, she has not seen any of her staff handle children in a rough manner or speak to them in an abusive manner/tone. That type of behavior is unacceptable and means for termination. Staff at the facility normally address concerns related to childrens behaviors respectfully and in the event that staff are not able to control the situation, staff will call the parent(s) and ask to have their child picked up from the program.
During interviews with staff, staff denied the allegations of handling a daycare child in a rough manner and yelling at daycare children. Staff also disclosed that staff have not seen other staff handle a daycare child in a rough manner or yell at daycare children.
Statements obtained from children were inconsistent and did not corroborate with the above mentioned allegations.
Parents interviewed did not present concerns related to the above mentioned allegations and were pleased with the services and care being provided to their children.
Based on the investigation conducted, there is insufficient evidence to support the above-mentioned allegations to be true. Therefore, although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are Unsubstantiated.
