25 | On 10/21/25, at 10AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Joe Katrdzhyan conducted an Unannounced Annual/Random inspection to the above facility. Upon arrival, LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and met with Licensee, Karina Torres who guided the LPA on a tour of the facility. Adults in the home were discussed and all have criminal record clearance. Also present were, Licensee’s Assistants. There were 10 day care children present during today’s inspection. Licensee states that there are currently 14 children enrolled. The children's roster was reviewed and is current. Per licensee, the facility’s hours of operation are Monday - Friday, from 8AM - 5:30PM. Emergency Disaster Plan, License, and Parents’ Rights were posted at the time of inspection. Disaster drill log was also available during today’s inspection and the last disaster drill was conducted on 9/22/25.
This is a single story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a living room, dining room, office/playroom, kitchen, pantry and a laundry area located inside the kitchen. There is also a detached converted garage used for activities, a front patio, side yard and backyard. According to the Licensee, parents drop off and pick up their children by entering through the front patio and walking through the side gate, which leads to the back yard. Areas that are accessible to children are as follows: Bedroom 3, bathroom 3 (which is located inside of bedroom 3), side yard, back yard, and detached converted garage. Bedroom 3 is located towards the back of the house with a door leading to the back yard. There is a fireplace located inside the living room which is off limits to children and not used during care. Per Licensee, off-limits areas are as follows: Bedrooms 1 and 2, bathrooms 1 and 2, living room, dining room, office/playroom, kitchen, pantry and laundry area. The off-limits areas are made inaccessible to children by a childproof lock installed on the door of bedroom 3.
